MAXWELTON GOLF CLUB

The old Scottish Ballad "Maxwelton by the Sea" was the inspiration for the name of the course. A Scottish immigrant commissioned the course in the mid 1920's; with construction beginning in 1928 and the course opening in 1930. The rolling fairways, changes in elevation and the small undulating greens is very reminiscent of Scottish golf architecture.
